Bhavya Footwear

You can find Bhavya Footwear over at Plot No. 14. It’s a straightforward setup where we focus on shoes and nothing else. We don't have a big fancy sign or a polished showroom. It’s more of a workshop and storage space than anything else. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and the smell of leather and glue. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The space at Plot No. 14 is big enough for us to keep everything organized, though it gets a bit messy when a new shipment arrives. The door is a heavy iron one that sticks a bit in the heat, so we usually just leave it propped open with a brick. We have a few benches for working and some racks for the finished pairs. We’ve got stacks of soles and laces in different colors filling up the shelves along the back wall. It’s usually just a couple of us here, making sure everything is built right and packed up properly. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Mostly, word just gets around. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but we have our work lamps for when we need to see the details. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk, but other days we’re running around trying to meet a deadline. It’s a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work.
