Janta Gadi Karkhana

Janta Gadi Karkhana has been around in Nagpur 440008 for quite some time. It is a workshop mostly, where things get made and repaired. When you walk in, you can see the tools lying around and the materials we use. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it is where the work happens. I spend most of my time here, from the early morning until the sun goes down. The building is old and it has that smell of dust and hard work. People from around the neighborhood know where we are. They don't need a big sign to find us. We just do what we do. Sometimes the fans make a lot of noise, especially when it’s hot outside and we have them running on high. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift, but that's part of the job. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just talk to whoever comes through the door. It’s a simple way to run a place. We take our time with things and don’t rush just to get done. The address is 440008, and we have been in this same spot for years. Life moves a bit slower inside these walls compared to the busy street outside. It’s just us here at Janta Gadi Karkhana, doing the same things we’ve always done. We don't try to be anything else.
