Jai Maa Kali Ambulance

Our base is at Quarter No 168/71 in Raghuji Nagar. We are right beside the Krushana Mandir, which makes us very easy to find if you are in the area. The sounds from the temple are part of our daily routine here. We have been running these ambulances for quite some time now. Raghuji Nagar is a busy place and we are right in the middle of it. We spend our shifts waiting for the phone to ring and then we head out. Our work involves a lot of driving around the city and helping people who can't get to the hospital on their own. We keep the stretchers ready and make sure the oxygen tanks are full every single morning. It’s a small operation but we stay very busy. Being next to the Mandir is nice because everyone knows the spot. We see people coming and going for prayers while we are checking the tires or cleaning the back of the vans. It is a simple life of service. We don't have a fancy corporate office, just this quarter in Raghuji Nagar where we manage our fleet. We know most of the shortcuts around this part of town, which helps when every minute counts. Sometimes we are just taking someone home after they get discharged. Other times it is a lot more serious. We just take it one call at a time and try to stay prepared.
