Saif Trading Company is right in the middle of all the noise at Ganjakhet Square. If you have ever been to Jagannath Budhwari, you know it is one of those places where something is always happening and it never really gets quiet. There are handcarts, big trucks, and crowds of people moving around all day long. Our business is basically a center for trading all sorts of different goods. We don't really specialize in one specific thing; we just handle whatever seems to be in demand at the time or whatever we can get a decent deal on to sell again. The space we have is mostly just filled with wooden crates and heavy sacks of stuff. It involves a lot of hard physical work, like lifting and moving things around from the early morning until the sun goes down. We have been located in this same spot for quite a long time now. The building itself is pretty old, and the stairs are narrow and a bit steep, but it works for what we need. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team in suits. Most of our business is done right here on the sidewalk or over a quick phone call with someone we have known for years. Dealing with suppliers in such a congested area can be a real headache sometimes, especially when the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes and block everything up. But that is just a normal part of life in Budhwari. We just take it as it comes.
