We are located over in Kunbipura, which is in Katol, near Nagpur. It’s a small town vibe here, not like the big city. Our office is simple. We work on land and development projects around the Taluka. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the land well. People come by to talk about plots or building projects they have in mind. We don't use much technology, mostly just paper maps and local knowledge. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoon sun, so we usually have the windows open. You can hear the sounds from the street clearly. It’s not a polished place. We have a few plastic chairs for visitors and a big wooden table where we look at plans. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth. Being in a place like Katol, everyone knows everyone else eventually. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or checking on sites in the district. It’s honest work. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door is locked, we are probably out at a site. We just keep things moving and try to help people get their projects started without too much fuss. Sometimes the paperwork takes longer than the actual digging, which is frustrating for everyone. We have an old cooler that hums loudly in the corner but it keeps the water cold enough for the hot afternoons. We just do our best.
