Sagar Biomass Briquetting Plant

Our plant is located over on Jafar Nagar Main Road, right near the Mother Teresa Nursing Institute. It is a bit of a busy area with the school there, but we have our spot at Plot 6 C/O. We spend most of our time working with the briquetting machines. If you have ever been near a biomass plant, you know it gets quite dusty with all the raw material sitting around before we press it into briquettes. We started this because there was a lot of waste material available and it seemed like a practical thing to do. The machines make a lot of noise throughout the day, so we are used to shouting over the gears. It’s not a clean job, you usually go home with dust on your clothes and in your hair. We have a small crew here and everyone knows their job. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon with wrenches trying to get things moving again. The nursing institute is a good landmark for people trying to find us since the road can get a bit confusing if you aren’t from around here. We just focus on making the briquettes and getting them loaded onto the trucks for delivery. It is simple work, really, just heavy and messy. We don’t have a big fancy office, just a place to sit and some tea when we take a break.
