Ite Research Foundation

You can find us over at the Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences. We have a few rooms there, numbers 409, 417, and 418, right near the AVBRH hospital in the Sawangi-Meghe area. It’s a very busy medical campus, so there are always students in white coats and doctors rushing around in the hallways. We set up Ite Research Foundation to dig into things that usually get overlooked in the bigger medical world. It's mostly just desks, older computers, and stacks of research papers in our rooms. We spend a lot of hours looking at data and trying to understand medical issues a bit better than before. It’s not the most exciting work to look at from the outside, but we find it really important for the future. Being so close to the hospital helps because we can see what's actually happening on the ground with patients. Sometimes we get together in room 417 to debate a specific finding or just share a quick lunch from the canteen before heading back to the files. We aren't trying to be some massive corporate entity with a huge PR team. We just want to contribute some solid research to the field. It gets quiet in the evenings once the students leave, and that’s when we usually get the most work done. We've been here for a bit now, getting to know the rhythm of the campus. It’s a simple, functional setup, but it works for the kind of research we do. We're just a small team.
