We’re over in Nagpur, not too far from the Jaitala Square. Mangesh R. Kottawar is the one who really keeps the wheels turning here at Integrity Construction. Our spot is at Sumitnagar, which is a decent area to be in when you’re doing construction work. It’s dusty and loud most of the time because that’s just the nature of what we do. We build things. It might be a small renovation or a bigger structure, but it’s always about getting the bricks and mortar in the right place. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Usually, you’ll find us out at a site or sitting at the table in the office looking over blueprints that are covered in coffee stains. We talk plain English here. No fancy words about innovation or synergy. We just talk about how much cement we need and when the laborers are showing up. The sun in Nagpur can be brutal, so we start early. It’s a lot of manual work and managing people who have different ideas about how a wall should go up. We’ve been around Jaitala Square long enough that people know our faces. We just try to build stuff that stays standing and doesn't cause too many headaches for the folks paying for it. It’s a simple business but it is definitely hard work for everyone involved.
