Indian Railways

We've been here in Nagpur at Civil Lines for quite some time now. It's a busy spot near R.B.-V, 124-B, and most people around here know where we are. Dealing with the trains and the tracks keeps us on our toes every single day. There’s always something happening, whether it’s a delay or just making sure things are moving right. We don’t really do fancy talk here. It’s mostly just getting the work done and making sure people get where they need to go on the rails. The office is tucked away, but it stays active with the staff coming in and out at odd hours. Maharashtra is a big place and the network connects so many parts of it. Life on the railway isn't always smooth, but it is what we do. We see all kinds of folks passing through or stopping by for info. It gets loud sometimes with the engines and the general hubbub of the city around us. It’s an old building, nothing too special to look at, but it serves its purpose. We keep the registers updated and try to stay on top of the schedules. It’s hard work, and sometimes the fans don't work right in the summer heat, but we manage. Just a bunch of us working behind the scenes to keep the engines running across the tracks all day and night.
