We are based out in New Yerkheda in Kamptee, which is part of the Nagpur district. It is a pretty straightforward place. We handle the finance side of things for Iffco Tokiyo Genral Finance Ltd. Nagpur gets incredibly hot as everyone knows so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and that there is plenty of cold water in the jug. The office is simple with a few metal cupboards for the files and some sturdy tables for our computers. A lot of people from the surrounding farms and small businesses come to see us about loans or financing for their equipment. We spend a lot of time looking at bank statements and helping people fill out their applications. It is not the kind of place with fancy carpets or expensive art. It is a working office. We have a lot of dust that comes in from the road so we are always cleaning the keyboards. Kamptee is a small town so news travels fast and we often hear about what is happening at the local market before it even happens. We are just a group of local people who know how things work around here. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated processes. We just try to help folks get their finance sorted so they can get back to their own work. It keeps us busy and the day goes by fast.
