I Educate Myself Daily Foundation

Our small foundation is tucked away at 1 Nandan Nagar in Amtala. It’s a quiet spot, away from the main hustle of the city center. We chose this location because it’s close to the people we want to help. The name "I Educate Myself Daily Foundation" is something we take literally. We are learning new things every day ourselves. Our office is just a single room with a couple of benches and a chalkboard. It’s not fancy, but it serves the purpose. We don't have a big budget for things like air conditioning or expensive furniture. We have a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, and that’s enough for us. Most of the kids from the nearby houses come by in the afternoons. It can get pretty loud and chaotic, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Amtala is a place where people work hard, and we want to match that energy. We don't spend money on flyers or advertisements. If someone needs help with learning or needs some resources, they usually just walk through the door. We keep the gate open during the day so anyone can pop in. It’s a very informal setup. Sometimes we run out of chalk or paper, but we always find a way to get more. It’s about making do with what you have and helping others do the same. It feels right.
