Hemraj Classes

You can find Hemraj Classes right at the Bajaj Complex Chowk in Jaripatka. It’s a landmark that everyone in this part of Nagpur knows. We have been here for a good amount of time, watching the shops around us change and the roads get busier. The building is older, but it has a certain character that you don’t find in the newer constructions. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and a big black board that gets very dusty by the end of the day. I spend a lot of my time cleaning that board and making sure we have enough chalk. We don't really do anything fancy here. It’s just a place for students to come after their regular school hours to get some extra help. Sometimes we sit and talk about life, but mostly we stick to the lessons. The Bajaj Complex area is always loud, so we have to speak up quite a bit. My voice usually gets a bit hoarse by Friday evening. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the subjects well enough to explain them clearly. We aren't trying to build an empire or anything like that. We just want to make sure the kids in Jaripatka have a place where they can ask questions without feeling shy. It’s a simple life, and we are quite happy with how things are going. Every day brings something a little bit different with the new topics we cover.
