Hearts And Hands Lifecare Foundation operates out of the Krisak Co. Op. Housing Society on Godhani Road. We are at number 10. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you are coming from the main part of the city, but the neighborhood is mostly residential and calm. The building is one of those older types where everyone knows their neighbors. Our office space is basically just a few rooms converted for our use. We have got some plastic chairs for when people stop by and a big table where we keep all the records stacked up. The fan in the main room makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on the highest setting, but you get used to it after an hour or so. We do not have a big sign outside or anything, just a small nameplate so people do not get lost in the society. Most of the time it is just the sounds of the local kids playing outside or someone’s TV next door. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for long afternoons when the energy starts to dip. There is a small garden area in the society which is nice for a quick walk when the weather isn't too hot. We have been in this spot for a while now and it feels like home to us. It is just a normal place where we do our daily tasks.
