Gargi Pet Foods

Our shop is located in Jaripatka, right near the Metro Foot Wears store. If you see the big shoe sign, you’re pretty much there. We mostly sell bags of food for dogs and cats, plus some other supplies people need for their animals. The space is a bit narrow, so we have to stack the bags high to make room for everyone to walk. It smells like kibble and birdseed most of the time. We see a lot of regular neighbors coming in to pick up their weekly supply for their pets. Sometimes people bring their dogs in with them, which makes the place a bit chaotic for a minute. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just a counter and a lot of heavy lifting. Dragging those twenty-kilo bags around keeps us in shape. We try to keep things simple and just have the stuff people are looking for. The street outside is usually busy with people shopping for clothes or shoes, so we get a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the road and people get a bit annoyed, but we move as fast as we can. It’s just a local pet shop run by people who live nearby. We know which dog likes which brand, and that makes the days go by a bit faster. It’s not a big corporate chain, just us and the bags of food. We like it that way and hope to stay for years.
