Our spot is at C-4 in the MIDC area of Kalameshwar. Ganraj Ind. has been operating out of this same building for a good while now. Mostly it is just a few of us here every morning, starting up the machines and seeing what the day brings. A fancy front office or a receptionist is not something you will find here. Usually, you just walk in and find someone on the shop floor. The Kalameshwar heat can be tough in the middle of the day, but everyone just gets on with it. It is a noisy place when everything is running, but that is how it goes in this line of work. Orders are handled as they come in. There is no big corporate strategy here. Looking at the schedule and trying to get things out the door without too much fuss is our main focus. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is not bad at all. The same faces show up every day at the tea stall around the corner. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for our needs. Time is not spent making polished presentations or marketing plans. If you need to talk to us, you just come by the MIDC. Tools are kept ready and our heads stay down. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the machinery acts up, but we fix it ourselves and keep going until the job is done.
