Ganga Iron Nagpur

We run our iron business out of a plot on Kamptee Road in Nagpur. It is located at Plot Number 31 in Shiv Kripa Nagar, right behind the Yashodhra Lawn. If you are coming from Naka Number 2, it is pretty easy to find. Nagpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, so the guys working with the iron rods and sheets have a tough time, but we keep the work moving. The yard is usually full of trucks coming in and out, and there is always a layer of dust on everything because of the heavy materials we move. We have been here for years, and we know most of the local contractors and builders who come to us for their supplies. It is a noisy place with all the metal clanging around, but that is just how it is in this trade. We keep a small office on-site to handle the billing and the weighbridge records. Most of our day is spent checking the stock and making sure the loading happens correctly so the drivers can get on their way. We don't use any fancy systems, just some ledgers and a basic computer for the receipts. It is a straightforward operation where we talk to people directly and settle the deals on the spot. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we just throw some slag down and keep working.
