Shrikrishna Electricals

The shop is in the Thakkar Building, which most people around Gandhibagh know pretty well. It’s right by the Kali Maa Mandir. Sometimes the bells from the temple are quite loud but it’s a nice sound to have while we work. Shrikrishna Electricals has been here a while now. Gandhibagh is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around. We spend most of our day dealing with various electrical parts and talking to folks who come in from the neighborhood. The building itself is old but sturdy. We don't really do anything fancy here, just keep the shelves stocked and help out whoever walks through the door. It gets dusty sometimes with all the traffic outside, but that is just how it is in this area. If you find the temple, you basically found us. We usually start early in the morning when the market begins to wake up. It’s a simple setup we have. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure things run okay. Every day is kind of the same, which is fine by us. We see the same faces often. Being near the Kali Maa Mandir gives the place a specific kind of energy that you don't get in other parts of the city. We are just a local spot trying to get through the work week like everyone else around here.
