Freddy Urban Nidhi Limited is situated right in the middle of South Sadar Bazar at 32/1-D Maulali Chowk. This is a very busy part of the city. There is always noise from the market and the people moving through the chowk. Our office is easy to find because of all the activity around it. As an urban Nidhi, we see a lot of different people, from small shop owners to daily wage workers who want to save a little bit of their earnings. The space inside is a bit tight because we have to make the most of the area we have in such a crowded location. We have some sturdy desks and files piled up against the walls. It’s a bit of a contrast to the chaos outside. We spend our day counting cash, filling out deposit slips, and updating the member books. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We don't have any corporate polish here; it's just a working office where we get things done. People like that they can just walk in off the street and talk to us directly without any fuss. It’s a practical way to run a business in Sadar Bazar. We've become a part of the daily rhythm of the chowk over the years we've been here.
