Our office is situated in Pratapnagar, specifically at Plot No. 8 in the Shivdutt Apartment within the Nit Layout. This is a residential and commercial mix area, so it feels a bit more lived-in than an industrial park would. Dealing with steel in a city like Nagpur means you are always aware of the market shifts and the heavy transport movements. We work out of this apartment setup, which keeps things grounded and simple. There is no lobby with a receptionist or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and find us working at our tables. The daily grind involves a lot of paperwork and checking in with the plant to see how the batches are coming along for the current month. We’ve been here for a bit, so we are used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The local shops nearby are where we usually grab a quick snack or some cold water when the heat gets unbearable in the afternoons. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. It is a steel office where we manage the various requirements of the customers and keep track of the inventory. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it is just the sound of the ceiling fan and someone shuffling papers on their desk. It is a practical environment where everyone just gets on with their specific tasks without much fuss or drama.
