This Exide Industries Ltd location is a bit unique because we are based out of Shivam Kunj, specifically B74 in Barde Nagar. It’s over in the Boargoan East area of Nagpur. We are set up here care of Mr. M C Agrawal. Being in a residential-style area like Barde Nagar means things are a bit quieter than a factory zone. We use the space to manage the regional side of the battery business. The office is really just a converted part of the building, so it has a very homey feel to it. There’s usually a pot of tea on the stove and some papers spread out over the dining table that serves as our main desk. We handle the calls and the distribution details from here. Nagpur gets really hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time near the cooler. We’ve been here for a good while, and the people in Shivam Kunj are used to seeing us coming and going with our files. It’s a small-scale operation in terms of the office size, but we handle a lot of work. We don't have a big reception area or a secretary. If you ring the bell, one of us will just come to the door and see what you need. It’s a simple, honest way of doing things without any of the corporate fluff you find in big cities. We just focus on our tasks.
