Our place is located at 85 in the Pili Nadi Industrial Area, right off Kamptee Road. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly warehouses and small factories like ours. Working with electro-plasma equipment involves a lot of technical bits and pieces, so the workshop is usually full of wires, components, and heavy machinery. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re basically in the middle of the workspace. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they’re running right. Kamptee Road is always loud with trucks passing by, carrying materials to and from the different units around here. We spend a lot of time on the floor, checking the equipment and making sure everything is assembled correctly. It’s dusty work sometimes, but it’s what we do. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sometimes brought from home or grabbed from one of the small shops nearby. We don’t really do big meetings; we just talk over the noise of the machines if something needs fixing. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something being welded or tested. We just focus on getting the orders out to the people who need them and keeping the facility running as it should.
