Egalite Human Welfare Foundation

We are located at Plot No. 295 in Babulban Garob, which is right in the Wardhaman Nagar area. It’s a busy spot and there’s always a lot of noise from the street outside, but we managed to set up the Egalite Human Welfare Foundation here anyway. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have a few old desks and some filing cabinets that don't always close right. My cousin helped me paint the walls last year, though the color came out a bit brighter than we expected. People walk by all day long. Sometimes they stop in to ask directions or just to see what we are doing at Plot 295. We try to keep things simple. There is no big corporate structure here, just a few of us trying to handle the work that comes our way. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan running at full speed. It makes a clicking sound that you eventually get used to. We spend a lot of time just organizing papers and talking to the people who live around Wardhaman Nagar. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. Some people think running a foundation is fancy, but mostly it is just answering the phone and making sure the records are kept straight. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up every day at Babulban Garob and do what needs to be done.
