Dhanwantri Books & Stationery

Our shop, Dhanwantri Books & Stationery, is at Plot No. 11 in Nandanvan. It’s situated right by Jagnade Chowck, which is always a busy intersection. There’s a lot of traffic and people moving about, which keeps things interesting for us. We sell all sorts of school books and stationery items. The shop is filled with pens, pencils, notebooks, and textbooks. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, especially during the start of the school season when everyone needs their supplies at once. We’ve been here for a long time, and the shop has a very lived-in feel. The shelves are made of dark wood and they’re packed tight. We don’t have a website or any online store. We just serve the people who walk in from the neighborhood. I spend most of my day behind the counter, which is cluttered with calculators and bill books. It’s a good place to chat with the regulars who come by. Sometimes the local kids come in just to look at the stickers or pens, and we don't mind. The floor is simple stone, and it gets a bit dusty because we keep the door open to the street most of the time. We don’t have any fancy signs or promotional banners. We just provide what the local students and offices need. It’s a straightforward business, and we like the community feel of being here at Jagnade Chowck. We just take each day as it comes and we are happy with that.
