Haider Wooden Frames Interiors

We work out of the basement of Ashirwad Palace in Dhantoli. It is right near the LIC building, which is a big landmark that most people in Nagpur recognize. Because we are down in the basement, it stays a bit cooler than the street level, but it can get a bit dark if we do not have all the shop lights on. We do wooden frames and interior work, so the place is usually covered in sawdust and small bits of wood. It smells like fresh timber most of the time we are here. We have our workbenches set up and all our hand tools within reach. It is not a fancy interior design studio with mood boards and coffee machines. It is a real workshop. People come down the stairs to talk about their homes or offices, and we show them what we are currently working on. Dhantoli is a busy part of the city, so there is always something happening outside on Abhyankar Road. We spend a lot of our time measuring, cutting, and fitting things together. Sometimes the basement feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of big frames to finish, but we always manage to find space. We have been doing this for years, and we just like working with our hands. It is a small operation, just a few of us making sure the wood looks right. It is not glamorous, but we just keep busy with the orders.
