Design Engineer

We’ve been working out of this spot near Champa Ashram in Kamptee for a while now. If you know the G N Road area, you probably know the Naya Godam neighborhood. It’s where Design Engineer is located. Most days it is just us here, focusing on the technical side of things and making sure the drawings or specs we handle are right before they go out. There isn't much to the shop besides the desks and the equipment we use, but it serves us well. People usually find us because they need someone to look at a plan or figure out a design problem that they can't handle themselves. We are right here in the Nagpur district of Maharashtra, so it is easy enough for folks from the city or nearby towns to drop in if they need to talk through a project face to face. Sometimes the traffic on G N Road gets a bit much, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We don't have a big front office or anything fancy like that. It is mostly about the work. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and looking over the details. It can be slow going sometimes, especially when a project is complicated, but rushing doesn't really help anyone in this line of work. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it's familiar and it works for what we do. If you're coming by, look for the landmarks near the ashram, it's easier than following a map.
