You can find us at Nandikeshwar Bhawan, which is part of the Manav Seva Society behind the veterinary college in Nagpur. It's a bit of a tucked-away spot near Seminary Hill. We do a lot of engineering and construction work from this office. It’s a decent-sized building, but it’s always crowded with rolls of drawings and pieces of hardware we are testing. We have a lot of engineers coming in and out, usually covered in a bit of site dust and carrying heavy bags. The office has a bit of a chaotic feel because there is always a new project starting up or an old one finishing. We don't spend much money on making the place look pretty or modern. We’d rather have better tools and computers for the design work we do. The area around Seminary Hill is quite nice and a bit greener than the rest of Nagpur. Sometimes we take our lunch outside just to get a bit of fresh air and a break from the computers. We deal with a lot of local contractors and material suppliers. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and trying to get things delivered on time so the sites don't stop. Construction is never as easy as it looks on the paper plans, so there is a lot of problem-solving going on at the desks. We just try to keep the projects on track without making too much of a fuss. It’s just us doing what we do in our corner of Nagpur.
