Our business, Cloudexis Ecommerce, is located at Plot Number 29 in the Bhamtee area of Nagpur. We are set up at Ramrao Pakhale’s place. It’s a local neighborhood and we’ve been here for a while now. Being in the 440022 zip code means we are around a lot of other small businesses and houses. We handle ecommerce tasks, which basically means a lot of time on computers and checking on shipments or listings. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular room with some desks and a lot of cords. Bhamtee is a good spot because it feels like a real community. We see the same people walking by every morning when we arrive. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations. Most of our work is done quietly behind the scenes. Sometimes the internet acts up or it gets too hot in the afternoon, but that’s just how it is working in Nagpur. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking orders and making sure everything is running like it should. We are just a small part of the local economy here in Maharashtra, doing our bit without making a big fuss about it. The mail arrives around noon most days, which is usually when we take a short break.
