We work out of Kolbaswami Apartment, specifically Flat 202 on the second floor. It’s Plot No. 08 in New Amar Nagar. If you know where Apeksha Medical is, we are right by there. It’s more of a home office than a showroom. We have samples of wood, tiles, and fabric scattered around. Sanjivani Interior Decorators is basically us trying to make spaces look better. We spend more time at work sites than in the office. Measuring walls, talking to carpenters, and checking on paint colors takes up most of the day. It’s dusty work sometimes. We don't wear suits or fancy clothes. Usually, it's just jeans and shirts that we don't mind getting a bit of plaster or paint on. We started doing this because we like seeing how a room changes. We don’t have a big marketing budget. Most of our projects come from people who saw a house we worked on. We try to listen to what people want, even if they aren't sure themselves. It takes a lot of patience. Some days we are just driving around looking for specific hardware or a certain shade of laminate. The traffic in New Amar Nagar can be a pain in the afternoon. But we get the job done eventually. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. We have a big table where we spread out the blueprints and drawings. It’s where most of the planning happens before we head out to the sites. We often drink too much coffee while working.
