Chaitanya Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha

Our place is House No. 2721 in Ward No. 01. We are right near Prince Lawn in Babubhai Colony, which is in Chicholi, Khaparkheda. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't from this side of town. The house is where we run everything for Chaitanya Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha. We’ve got a lot of different things going on because we try to help with whatever comes up in the neighborhood. One day it’s helping someone with paperwork, the next it’s organizing a small local gathering or a cleanup. We don’t have fancy office equipment. We use an old wooden table and some plastic chairs. It’s a community-run thing, really. People from the colony stop by all the time. Sometimes they bring us snacks or just come to vent about local problems like the water or the roads. We listen and try to figure out solutions together. It’s a bit messy sometimes with papers piled up on the desk, but we know where everything is. The area around Prince Lawn is usually busy with weddings and events, so there’s always noise and people around. We like being in the middle of it. We aren't a big NGO with a lot of funding. We just do what we can with what we have. It’s about being there for the people in Ward No. 01. We’ve been doing this for a while now and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
