Butibori Manufacturing Association

We’ve been here at P-5 in the Midc Butibori Industrial Area for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Nagpur and things are always moving around the clock. You look around and see trucks coming in and out of the industrial estate all day long. Our association is basically just a group of us who work in these factories nearby. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or road repairs that happen around here. It isn’t fancy at all. The office is just a place where we sit down to talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. Some days it’s quiet and other days everyone is talking at once about new rules or problems with the water supply. We know most of the people running the units around here by their first names. It’s a community of folks trying to make things work in this part of Maharashtra. The address is 442 217 if you’re looking for the pin code. Sometimes the heat in Nagpur gets to be a lot in the summer but the work doesn’t stop for that. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just walking over to the next plot to check on something. It’s mostly just practical talk about manufacturing and keeping the units running without too much trouble. We don't have big meetings every day, just when there is something that needs fixing. It’s home for us.
