Bridgestone Select - A Plus Tyres

The morning usually starts with the sound of the shutters going up here at Shop No 1/2 in Datta Krupa Apartment. We’ve been operating Bridgestone Select - A Plus Tyres on this corner of Ring Road for a while now, and the traffic noise from Kotwal Nagar is just part of the background for us. You’ll mostly find us covered in a bit of dust or grease because there is always a car on the jack or some wheels being balanced. It gets pretty hot in Nagpur, so we keep the fans going at full blast while we work through the stacks of new rubber. The smell of fresh tyres is something you just get used to after the first week. We aren't big on fancy speeches or complicated business talk. Mostly, we just spend our day looking at tread wear and making sure the alignment machine is running right. Some days are busier than others, especially when the monsoon hits and everyone suddenly realizes their tyres are smooth. We sit on plastic chairs during our breaks and drink tea from the stall nearby. It’s a straightforward life here. People come in, we look at their wheels, we talk about the roads, and we get the job done so they can head back out onto the Ring Road. It’s not a glamorous place, but the floor stays swept and the tools are where they should be when someone pulls into the bay.
