Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan

We are located up on Semminjery Hills in Nagpur. The address is B/20, which is easy to spot once you get into the hills. Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan has been a staple in this area for a long time. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the air is a little clearer than it is down in the main city. We’ve got a lot of history in this building. It’s not a new, modern structure with all the glass and steel you see these days. It has more of a traditional feel to it. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for years. We do things a certain way, following the traditions we’ve always had. It’s a quiet place most of the time, except when things are in full swing and the halls are full of people. Nagpur can be a busy city, but being up on Semminjery Hills gives us a bit of a break from the noise. We don’t really go in for a lot of self-promotion. Most people know who we are just by the name and our reputation in the community. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure everything runs smoothly in the building. It’s a big responsibility, but we enjoy being part of this institution. If you’re visiting B/20, you’ll see what I mean about the atmosphere we have here.
