People from all over Pande Layout and nearby parts of Nagpur come here to participate. We don't have any big marketing plans or shiny brochures. We just talk to people and explain how the chit cycles work. We keep our records in big books and on the computer. Sometimes it gets a bit busy, especially when it’s time for the monthly auction, but usually, it’s just a steady flow of work. We have our fans going to keep the place cool and there is usually some tea around. We speak simple English and try to be as helpful as we can to anyone who walks in. It’s a normal, everyday business. We’ve been at Datta Apartment for quite some time now and we know the neighborhood well. It is just a place where people come to save together.
