Ateequr Rahman

Our place is situated on Kalamana Road in Nagpur. You can find us right near the railway gate, which is a very busy spot during the day. We are directly opposite the Dargah, so it’s easy for anyone in the neighborhood to spot us. The office is small and tucked away in a row of other shops. It’s not a very quiet area because of the trains and the traffic on Kamptee Road, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Inside, things are kept very simple. We have a desk, a couple of chairs, and some filing cabinets for our records. We don’t use any big marketing slogans or fancy signs to get people inside. Most of the people who come to see Ateequr Rahman are locals from this part of Nagpur. We see a lot of familiar faces every day. The building is nothing special to look at, just a regular brick and mortar structure that’s seen a lot of seasons. We keep a fan going most of the time because Nagpur gets incredibly hot in the summer months. It’s a straightforward operation here. We handle our daily tasks and help the people who walk through our door. No corporate polish or complicated systems. We just show up every morning and get to work. It’s a busy life, but we like being right here in the middle of the action near the gate.
