Surfssist

You can find us over at Patankar Square in Angulimal Nagar. Surfssist is a small office where we spend most of our time staring at screens and trying to figure things out for our clients. It’s not a very big space, just a few desks pushed together and a lot of tangled wires on the floor. We try to keep it tidy, but with all the hardware and books lying around, it usually looks a bit lived-in. The area outside is quite noisy because of the square, but we have some heavy curtains that help block out the distractions. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of typing and the occasional groan when a piece of code doesn't work right. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It is not the kind of place with a lobby or a secretary. If someone comes in, one of us just spins our chair around to say hello. We deal with all sorts of technical issues and sometimes stay late into the evening when a project is due. It’s just a group of us who are good with computers trying to make a go of it. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just fix what is broken and build what is needed. It’s a simple life in a busy part of town, and we like it that way. We just take it one job at a time and try not to get too stressed.
