Operating out of F 14/2 in the MIDC Hingna area means dealing with a lot of noise and dust from the surrounding factories. We spend most of our time on the shop floor making sure the cushions are being put together properly. It’s hot in the summer, especially under the tin roofs, but we have some fans that help a bit. The workers here have been with us through thick and thin. We focus on the daily output and making sure the materials are used right. There is always a smell of foam and fabric in the air which you get used to after about ten minutes. Trucks come in and out of the MIDC area at all hours so scheduling is always a bit of a headache. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. It’s just us doing the work and sending the orders out to whoever needs them. The office part is small and mostly just for filing invoices and taking calls. Sometimes we run out of space when a big shipment comes in and we have to stack things all the way to the ceiling. It can get pretty cramped. We just keep our heads down and do what we know how to do. Hingna is a tough place to work but it’s home for the business. There’s no point in making it sound like more than it is. We make cushions and we try to do it right.
