Advanced Dental Clinic

We have been here at Mirgji Complex for a while now. Meenakshi Chowk is a busy spot, and we fit right in with the noise and the people passing by. It is just a regular dental clinic. We open up in the morning, clean the floors, and wait for the first person with a toothache to show up. Most people who come in live nearby or work in the shops around the chowk. We see all kinds of dental problems. Sometimes it is just a routine cleaning, other times someone comes in because they can't eat on one side. We don't have fancy leather chairs in the waiting room, just regular ones that do the job. My assistant knows most of the regulars by name. We talk about the weather or the traffic outside while we work. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons here. We keep the fans going. I remember one time a guy came in just to ask for directions but ended up getting a checkup because he realized he hadn't seen a dentist in years. That is how it goes. We try to keep things simple and straightforward. No one really likes going to the dentist, so we just get on with it without making a big fuss. It is a small place, but it works for us and the people in Meenakshi Chowk. We stay open late some days if someone is stuck at work. Just a normal part of the neighborhood.
