A.B. Motor

Our business, A.B. Motor, is located at Plot Number 26 in Old Bagadganj. We are very close to the Gangabai Ghat Chowk, which is a well-known spot in this part of town. The area has a lot of history and it’s quite busy throughout the day with people coming and going. We work on motors and vehicles here. The garage is a bit old, but it serves us well for the work we do. We have a couple of lifts and a lot of tools scattered around the workbenches. Most of our days are spent with our hoods up or under a chassis. It’s messy work, and we usually go home with oil on our clothes and dirt under our nails. People from the neighborhood bring their vehicles to us because they know we’ve been here for a long time. We don't really have a waiting room, so customers usually just stand around or go get a tea nearby while we finish up. The road outside can get congested, especially near the chowk during the rush hours. We try to keep the front of the shop clear so we can move cars in and out easily. It’s a small team here, just a few mechanics who know their way around an engine. We don’t use any fancy diagnostic computers if we can help it; we rely more on what we can see and hear ourselves. It is simple work but it keeps us busy.
