A.B. Dongre Architects, Planners and Interior designers

Down in Nagpur, you can find our office at 53, Gittikhadan Layout in the Pratapnagar area. A.B. Dongre Architects, Planners and Interior designers is a mouthful of a name, but it just means we do a bit of everything when it comes to buildings and rooms. We have been operating out of this Gittikhadan Layout spot for a while. The office isn't very large, but we have enough space for our drafting tables and computers. Nagpur gets pretty hot, so we spend a lot of time indoors working on planning details or picking out interior finishes. We aren't the type of firm that has a lot of polished meetings. Usually, it’s just us sitting around a table covered in sketches. We do the planning work that most people don't want to deal with, like the technical layouts and the interior stuff that makes a room feel right. Being in Pratapnagar is nice because it’s a familiar neighborhood. We know the local streets and how things are built around here. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk. We just explain things as they are. If someone needs a plan for a house or wants to fix up an office, we just look at the space and start drawing. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We’ve got a routine down now, and we just stick to it every day.
