P. N. B. Farms

P. N. B. Farms is located out in Nagla Ummed Village. We fall under the Sasni Tehsil in the Hathras District. It’s a proper rural setting, far away from the noise of the big cities. Life here is mostly about the seasons and the crops. We spend our days out on the land or in the farm buildings. The address is just the village name because everyone around here knows where everyone else is anyway. It’s a lot of hard work, starting before the sun is even up most days. Whether it’s tending to the soil or looking after whatever is growing at the time, there is always something to do. The roads in the village can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, so we use tractors more than cars to get around. We don't have an office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. We usually talk business sitting on a string cot or standing by the gate. People from Hathras come by sometimes, but mostly it’s just us and the other farmers in Nagla Ummed. It’s a quiet life in some ways, but it is physically demanding. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just focus on the farm and what we can produce from the ground. It’s been in the family for a while, and we just keep it going one year at a time.
