Laxmi Overseas Trading

If you come down to South Car Street, you’ll find us at No3. Laxmi Overseas Trading is just a small office there. It’s an old part of town, so the buildings have some character, and the streets are always full of activity and people going to the temple nearby. We’ve been set up here for a while. Our day usually starts early because that’s when the street is quietest and we can get things moved easily. We do a lot of trading, mostly sending things overseas as the name says. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of sitting around waiting for calls and then a lot of rushing when a shipment needs to go out. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign out front. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been dealing with us for a decade or more. The South Car Street area is good for us because it’s central to everything we need. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we all help each other out when needed. It’s a simple operation. We don’t use big words or try to impress anyone with corporate talk. We just handle the trading side of things and try to make sure everything gets to where it’s supposed to go on time. It’s a lot of tracking numbers and checking lists. We like the pace of it. It’s our way of making a living, and we’ve been doing it at No3 for a long time now.
