Ganesh Plstics

Ganesh Plstics is right here on Pillaiyarcoil Street. It gets pretty loud during the day because of the machines running all the time. We have stacks of plastic things and raw materials all over the shop floor. Most mornings start with moving the old stock around to make room for the new stuff coming off the line. It is a bit dusty, to be honest. The street outside is usually crowded with people and traffic, so getting trucks in and out takes a while. We spend a lot of our time just managing the small space we have. Someone is always checking the mold settings or fixing a minor jam in the hopper. It is not fancy work, but it fills the day. We have a small corner for tea where we sit for ten minutes when the power flickers or when we just need a break from the constant noise. The walls are painted a dull color that has faded over the years, and there are posters from old calendars still hanging up. We deal with lots of different scraps and pellets. You can smell the heated plastic even before you walk through the door. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the humming sound of the motors, but we try to keep it down after dark. It is just how things are here in this part of town. We keep the ledger on a wooden desk that has seen better days, and the phone rings more than we would like.
