Tagore Engineering College

Our college is situated out here in Kuchaman, right near the Shakambhary Mata temple. If you are from the Nagaur area, you probably know where that is. It’s a place where students come to study different branches of engineering. The buildings are spread out and we spend a lot of time in the classrooms and the labs. Usually, you’ll see groups of students sitting outside under the trees during their breaks or heading over to the temple area for a bit of a walk. The atmosphere is fairly quiet compared to the big cities, which helps when people are trying to focus on their exams or lab work. We have different departments for civil, mechanical, and other subjects. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so it feels like a local community. It isn't always perfect; sometimes the equipment needs fixing or the heat in summer gets a bit much, but we manage. People here are hard-working. We see a lot of students coming from small villages around Nagaur who really want to make something of themselves. The canteen is usually a busy spot at lunch. We don’t go for anything too flashy, just a solid place for learning and getting through the degree. It’s been here for a while now and most people in Kuchaman know us as the local engineering spot. We just focus on the day-to-day teaching and making sure the students attend their lectures.
