Shree Upnishad Welfare Foundation

We’ve been operating the Shree Upnishad Welfare Foundation from Roon for a while now. Specifically, we are situated over at the AMR Hospital premises, right with Ramkishor’s family. Khinwsar is a quiet place and news travels fast here. Most of us grew up in these parts, so we know the families and the struggles they face day to day. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a small desk and some chairs where people come by to talk about what they need. Sometimes it is about health, other times it is just getting paperwork sorted for local schemes. Living near the hospital means we see a lot of folks coming in from the nearby villages who look a bit lost. We try to help them find their way or get the right help without too much fuss. It isn't always easy and sometimes we run out of time in the day, but we do what we can. Our office isn't big, but the doors are usually open. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who care about how things are going in our corner of Rajasthan. If you are ever near the AMR Hospital, you will probably see us around. We just want things to be a bit better for the people living here in Roon. It is home for us and we just want to help out.
