Out here in Vill.Sudrasan, near Didwana, things move at their own pace. We handle the electric power side of things for the district. Being in Nagaur means dealing with a lot of dust and heat, especially during the summer months. Our office is right here in the village, so we see our neighbors every day when we head out to the sites. We spend most of our time in the back of a jeep or climbing around equipment. It is straightforward work, really. We look at the blueprints, grab the right tools, and get to it. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the wind picks up and you can barely see the road, but we manage. We aren't a big city operation with shiny glass windows. It’s mostly just desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of spare parts lying around the yard. We have to keep a close eye on the inventory because getting stuff delivered all the way out here to 341551 takes time. If we run out of something, it’s a long wait. Most of us grew up around here or in the nearby towns, so we know the land. We just show up, do what needs to be done with the power lines, and go home to our families. It’s steady work and it keeps the lights on for everyone else around the tehsil.
