Samankalan Seva Foundation

We operate out of Kuchamancity in the Nagaur district. The foundation is basically run from the house where Shabina Khan and Mo. Iqbal Khan live, right near Mirdha Nagar. It is a residential area in Mahbub Nagar, so it feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. People around here know us by name, and we usually have someone or the other stopping by the gate to ask a question. Kuchamancity is a busy place, but our little corner stays relatively calm. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the work we do every day. The office is really just a desk and some chairs where we handle the foundation's business. It started because we wanted to do something useful for the community around us. Most of our time goes into organizing local events or helping people with paperwork they don't understand. It’s practical work, nothing too complicated. Sometimes the heat in Nagaur gets to be a bit much, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. Being located in a home makes it easier for people to approach us without feeling intimidated. We are just local residents trying to manage this foundation the best we can. The address 341508 is home for us, and it is where all the planning happens. It's a simple life, but the foundation keeps us occupied and connected to the people in this part of town.
