S H Bricks Udhyog

We run S H Bricks Udhyog out here on Jaipur Road in Kuchaman City. It's right near Rama Memorial Sr. Secondary School, so we see the school kids and buses go by every day while we are working. Making bricks is just what we do here. The sun gets pretty hot on the road but the work has to get done anyway. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. People from around the area stop by when they are building a wall or a small house. It’s not a fancy setup or anything, just a lot of red clay and hard work. My hands are usually covered in dust by noon. We keep the kilns going and try to make enough for everyone who asks. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to dry the bricks fast enough, especially when the rains start coming down. It’s a simple business. We don't have a big office, mostly just the yard where the bricks sit in stacks. If you are driving down Jaipur Road, you can’t really miss us near the school. We just focus on getting the piles ready for the trucks. It is noisy with the traffic and the machines, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't spend much time talking, mostly just loading and unloading stuff all day long. That's how it goes here at our place in Kuchaman.
