Nathi Devi Anchara Charitable Foundation

We are based in the village of Bhadwa. If you're looking for us, we are located at the house of Dev Karan, son of Hira Ram. It’s in the Parbatsar area of Nagaur. You have to go through Badu to get here. It’s a rural spot, very different from the noise and rush of the big cities. Nathi Devi Anchara Charitable Foundation is a local effort. We named it after family because that’s what really matters to us. We don't have a corporate office with glass walls or computers everywhere. We work from a regular house in the village. Most of our work is done sitting on the porch or out in the fields talking to our neighbors. We know everyone in Bhadwa and they know us by name. We started this because we wanted to help our own people and our own village. It’s not a complicated thing. We just look at what’s needed in the village and try to find a way to fix it. Sometimes we have the resources, sometimes we don't, but we always try to do something. Nagaur is a place with strong traditions and we respect that. Our foundation is just an extension of how we’ve always lived. We don't need fancy reports or marketing experts to do what’s right. Just simple people helping each other out whenever there is a need. That's the way it's always been done here and we don't plan on changing how we work.
