Moon Printers is located right at Gandhi Chowk in Khan Market. It is a very central spot, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and cars zooming by. Being at Gandhi Chowk means we are in the middle of everything. The shop is small and has been here for a good while. We spend our days surrounded by paper, ink bottles, and the hum of the printing presses. Khan Market is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry, but we try to just focus on the job at hand. It can get pretty hot in the summer with the machines running, but we have a small fan that helps. There’s no big corporate vibe here. It’s just a local print shop where the floors are a bit stained with ink and the shelves are crowded with old samples. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or advertisements. Most people find us just by walking past Gandhi Chowk. We open the shutters in the morning and start with whatever work came in the day before. Sometimes the neighbors from other shops come by for a tea and a quick chat. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but Moon Printers stays pretty much the same. We just keep printing whatever the customers ask for and try to keep the machines in good shape.
