Maa Karni Earth Movers

We’re located in Gotan, right near the Bhomiya Markat and Meera Sr Sec School. Maa Karni Earth Movers is just a local business that’s been around for a few years. Being near the school and the market means there’s always people passing by our gate. It’s a lively spot in Asawari. We mostly do digging and clearing for local building projects. Our equipment isn't always shiny and new, but we keep it in good shape because that’s our livelihood. Most of us here have been driving these machines since we were young. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We’re usually in boots and covered in dust. We don't have any big mission statements or anything. We just take on the work that comes our way. Sometimes it’s a small garden job and other times it’s a big foundation. We treat them all about the same. It’s just about moving the dirt from point A to point B. We like being in Gotan because everyone knows everyone else. If you need us, you just come by the market and ask. We’re usually around unless we’re out on a site somewhere nearby. It’s a simple life and we’re happy enough with it. There’s no need for fancy talk when the work is right there in front of you. We just try to get it done right and move on.
